Even though RIM has been taking its fair share of punishment lately, it's good to see that some developers are still behind the Canadian success story and are willing to develop apps for their phones and tablet.

One of the reasons that RIM has managed to keep, and in some countries grow, its user base is due to their Blackberry Messenger application (BBM). It's a simple text only application to lets you connect with your friends, shares photos, videos and now even music.

Until now, in order to connect to a user you needed to know their PIN, which meant you needed to know the person. A new application called PinShare, developed by Motek Mobile, is a pin sharing application that lets you flip through profiles of other PinShare users, and when you find someone you're interested in, you can chat. The other person will not know your pin, so if things get weird, just disconnect.

It's a simple addition to one of blackberry's most addictive features and is sure to become an massive hit.
