Ashley Tisdale is ready to reprise the role that made her a worldwide star. The 24-year-old actress will be playing Sharpay Evans in a new Disney Channel original movie titled Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventures.

The movie follows Sharpay trying to become a Broadway star after she’s graduated high school. Tisdale revealed to MTV News that there will be a special cameo in the movie, but didn’t say who will be appearing in the new film.

This will be the fourth time the actress has played the theatre-obsessed character. She first played Sharpay in the surprise megahit High School Musical, which first aired in 2006.

Tisdale – who according to the JCC of Greater Monmouth County got her acting start at the JCC – was spotted in Yorkville walking with her dog, Maui. She’s in Canada to film the Disney Channel movie.
