Darren Aronofsky Creates Powerful Anti-Meth PSA’s
Meth has become an epidemic in North America. Darren Aronofsky has created four hard-hitting PSA's hoping to educate teens.
Still from The Meth Project PSAAronofsky, in conjunction with the Meth Project by Wild Plum, has created four public service announcements portraying teenagers suffering from methamphetamine addiction. The ads all share the theme “If I had asked… I wouldn’t be asking.”
Filmed in Aronofsky’s signiture dark and raw style, the teens recall the beginnings of their drug use and naivite towards the potential consequences.
The 30-second shorts are very graphic depicting the lives of teens before and after meth use including stealing, promiscuity, and violence.
All four ads will be aired on networks nationwide in the near future.
