Twilight’s Nikki Reed Debuts Single With Husband
Nikki Reed and American Idol's Paul McDonald release duet as part of the Breaking Dawn soundtrack
Paul McDonald and Nikki Reed‘Now That I Found You’ is featured on the soundtrack for ‘The Twilight Saga’s Breaking Dawn Part 1’, and has been released just in time to up the hype for the film’s November 18th release.
The song premiered Monday morning on Ryan Seacrest’s morning show on KIIS FM after Reed called in the station. Andre Harris, who has worked with dozens of high-profile musicians including Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, and Usher, produced it.
McDonald arranged the melody, while Reed wrote the song’s lyrics.
The opening lyrics (sung by McDonald), read: “I hope your eyes just smile forever, only once I’ve told a lie / I hope these days go on forever and always right by your side / you’re all I want to know for the rest of my life.”
"He's really supportive and encourages everything. I'm a little more shy. We've done some open mic's together. I probably will end up doing [more music with him]," Reed said.
‘Now That I Found You’ will be available on iTunes this week.
