Seth Rogen Won't Tell Jokes at Bar Mitzvahs
The Canadian actor says he’ll no longer perform at Bar Mitzvahs
Canadian funnyman Seth Rogen has done his fair share of stand-up comedy. But don’t expect him to perform at a Bar Mitzvah any time soon.
“I now only do things that are creatively interesting and worthwhile and feel natural,” he told Times Live in a recent interview. “I'd rather be poor and happy. I won't do jokes for Bar Mitzvahs any more!”
Rogen recently co-starred in 50/50, a movie about a young guy (played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt) who finds out that he has cancer. The film, which was co-produced by Rogen, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.
The Canadian actor co-stars in the upcoming Take This Waltz -- which also premiered at TIFF -- alongside Michelle Williams and Sarah Silverman.
