Justin Bieber May Attend Prom With a Boy
High Schooler Leon invites Justin Bieber to his prom via YouTube
Inspired by the Marines that invited the likes of Mila Kunis, Scarlett Johannson, Justin Timberlake, and others to the Marine Corps Balls via YouTube, New Jersey high school student, Leon, is reaching out to Justin Bieber to secure a date for next year’s prom.
Earlier this year, Leon posted a video on YouTube essentially begging Bieber to accompany him to the ball… but here’s the real kicker- Leon isn’t gay.
The teenager wants them to “Jerk” and “Dougie” together. According to Wikipedia, “The Dougie is a hip-hop dance generally performed by moving one's body in a shimmy style and passing a hand through or near the hair on one's own head.”
Leon must be one popular kid (or attend a school with many Bieber fans) because he has enlisted the help of his entire New Jersey high school to promote what he has deemed “Trending Day”. On December 27th at 12:01 a.m, Leon and his peers will do everything in their power to get #GuyAsksJustinBieberToPromOnYouTube trending on Twitter.
"I haven't seen him do that many things for his guy fans, and Justin Bieber said to 'follow your dreams' and 'never say never—so, why not?," Leon explains.
So will Bieber accept the gracious invitation in the style of Mila Kunis or Justin Timberlake, or merely send a bottle of champagne (ahem… juice?) to Leon a la ScarJo? Maybe Justin will bring Selena along so him and Leon can double-date? My prediction: He simply ignores the invitation.
