Stern, the newest judge on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, decided to spend New year’s Eve calling his loyal Twitter followers with his wife, Beth.
Stern tweeted, “Beth and I are drunk dialing. What’s your phone number?”
Obviously, many of his followers responded with their numbers, and the phone calls began.
According to Digital Spy, Stern discussed an array of topics including ailing pets and video games.
Stern made phone calls for a few hours, and then posted a final tweet reading, “Just made my last call. Going to bed. Wishing everyone a happy new year. If u get a call after this… it’s not me.”
Some of his fans took to twitter immediately after getting off the phone with him to express their excitement. One fan tweeted, “OMG! It was like the best thing ever! I started crying after we hung up!”
