Gwyneth Paltrow New Face of Veggie Food Line
The part-time veggie is the new face of Spar Supermarkets' vegan and veggie line
Actress, GOOP blogger, and cook book author, Gwyneth Paltrow, has been named the new face of Austria’s Spar Supermarket’s line of vegan and vegetarian foods.
Paltrow considers herself a “part-time vegetarian”, but obviously this didn’t matter to the grocery chain.
‘Spar Veggie’ is the supermarket’s new offering featuring 43 vegetarian and vegan products from both the fresh and frozen counters.
Paltrow filmed the advertisements over two days in Paris. Launching today, they will be seen on Austrian TV and billboards.
Of ‘Spar Veggie’, Paltrow said, “They are a really healthy alternative to grab and go!”
"Gwyneth Paltrow is the ideal of the modern day, food-aware young woman, who knows having meatless meals is a good idea now and again," said Dr. Gerhard Drexel, director of Austrian SPAR.
"She loves the idea behind our new product line. We are overjoyed to have Gwyneth on board.”
