Synagogue Accidentally Appoints ‘Girls Gone Wild’ Girl to Senator’s Office
Girls Gone Wild’s Joe Francis wins auction to intern at Arkansas Senator’s office
This story sounds like the beginning of a good joke. What do you get when you mix together ‘Girls Gone Wild’, a synagogue, a U.S Senator and the FBI?
Wilshire Boulevard Temple in Los Angeles recently auctioned off a summer internship at Arkansas Senator, Mark Pryor’s, office to help raise money for charity. What they weren’t expecting was for ‘Girl Gone Wild’s’ head honcho, Joe Francis, to win.
Francis bid on the auction with the intention to give the position to the winner of his current ‘Hottest Girl in America’ competition.
When Mark Pryor’s office learned of Francis’ win, they insisted that they never agreed to an intern auction, and contacted the FBI to investigate.
Chad Brownstein, a member of Wilshire Blvd. Temple, found out about the FBI investigation, and immediately issued a letter of apology, taking full blame for the matter, and promising to fix the situation.
Brownstein claims that he suggested the idea of the summer internship auction at Pryor’s office in a recent fundraiser brainstorming session, and the auction went live on the Internet without his knowledge. He blames the incident on “miscommunication”.
Brownstein concludes the letter saying, “I wish there were something else I could say other than I am sorry. All I can add is I realize the error in my judgment and will certainly never make this mistake again.”
