Judd Apatow Explores ‘This is 40’ [VIDEO]
A new trailer for Judd Apatow's highly anticipated film starring Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann was released today.
"It's about getting older. What the hell happened? Am I making all the right choices? Is this where I'm supposed to be? Is this it? All of those dreams that you had when you were young, all of the possibilities, when you lock into marriage and kids, do the possibilities dwindle or go away," Mann (who incidentally is married to Apatow) in said in a Los Angeles Times interview earlier this year.
Judging by the trailer, Apatow seems to exploring both the joys and perils that come with middle age, with perhaps a decidedly autobiographical direction. Not only is he wed to Mann, but the daughters in This is 40 are the couples offspring in real life.
The film opens December 21, with appearances by Apatow mainstays Jason Segel, Melissa McCarthy and others. Below is the trailer for your viewing pleasure.
