Up-and-comer, Ezra Miller, wowed audiences last year in Lynne Ramsay’s ‘We Need to Talk About Kevin’. Miller played teenage serial killer, Kevin, and surprised critics with the depth and complexity that he brought to the role.

Variety recently reported that Miller has been cast in Sophie Barthes’ ‘Madame Bovary’ adaptation. The young star will portray one of Madame Bovary’s many lovers. ‘Jane Eyre’s’ Mia Wasikowka has filled the lead role and wonderful character actor, Paul Giamatti, will also star.

Ezra Miller has also wrapped up production on the film adaptation of ‘Perks of Being a Wallflower.’ In this film, based on the popular YA novel by Stephen Chbosky, Miller plays Patrick, a compassionate high school senior that becomes friends with the story’s freshman protagonist.

Madame Bovary begins shooting in Europe this fall.
