Howard Stern Bashes Britney Spears and JLo
In characteristic form, "King of All Media" couldn't hold his tongue at a press conference touting his new judging gig.
"I think it's a wonderful decision, Britney still thinks the Earth is flat. Listen, I think we're going to tune in to see her, if she can sort of function through the thing. As far as any real criticism, I think Simon (Cowell) and LA Reid will be doing that. I think Britney is going to stand there and eat a lollipop and wear a sexy outfit. I don't anticipate great opinions out of her... I'll tune in to see what kind of train wreck she is, absolutely," quipped Stern.
It was reported on Wednesday, that Spears signed a contract to receive a paltry $15 million US, to appear as a judge on the show for a season.
However, the character bashing didn’t stop there, when Stern went on to compare Spears to Jennifer Lopez on American Idol.
“I think she's going to sit there like JLo and say, 'Oh, you're wonderful. You're terrific. Do you think I could get a perfume endorsement out of this? You think I could perform on the show?' I think that's what it's about," Stern opined.
Stern will commence his new judging gig on America’s Got Talent, when the new season premieres Monday at 8pm on NBC.
