Zac Efron and Goldie Hawn in talks for Jewish Family Comedy
Hawn and Efron are reportedly in talks to star in a new movie directed by Adam Shankman.
Zac Efron and Goldie Hawn might be teaming up for a new movie. The two actors are in talks to star in a comedy called This is Where I Leave You, according to Deadline.com.
Based on the Jonathan Tropper novel with the same name, This is Where I Leave You tells the story of four siblings who are forced to return home for seven days to sit shiva for their father. Deadline is reporting that Efron, Jason Bateman and Leslie Mann will likely play siblings in the film (Hawn will play their mother).
Adam Shankman -- a director who worked with Efron on Hairspray -- will reportedly helm the flick. If Hawn in fact signs onto the movie, it will mark her first big screen role since 2002’s The Banger Sisters.
Meanwhile, Leslie Mann (who’s married to Judd Apatow) is keeping busy with roles in movies like This is 40 -- which co-stars Paul Rudd and Jason Segel. Check out the funny trailer below.
