Edon Pinchot Makes the Final Twelve on America's Got Talent
Scott Brothers, David Garibaldi and his CMYKs, and Shanice and Maurice Hayes join Pinchot.
Edon PinchotPinchot wowed the judges and the audience on Monday's show, receiving rave reviews from all three judges and receiving one of only two standing ovation from the audience.
Of the twelve contestants featured in the first week, Edon and ventriloquist Todd Oliver remained last, and their fate laid in the hands of the judges.
"For me, Edon is the chosen," punned Mandel when asked who he picks between Edon and Oliver.
"Edon is a child prodigy, but he's a child though, and I wish he was actually in this contest five years from now when he's really going to mature," remarked judge Howard Stern. "But damn it...I'm going to give it to you Edon."
Even though Sharon Osbourne's vote was not needed since Edon had already received two of three votes needed, she still provided her vote had it been necessary.
"Absolutely, without a shadow of doubt in my mind, I would have voted for Edon," said Osbourne.
Pinchot will be joined in the final twelve by David Garibaldi and his CMYKs, the Scott Brothers and father-daughter duo Shanice and Maurice Hayes.
The first week's results were quite predictable, as all judges had these four as their choice of contestants moving forward. However, based on the talent on hand, once AGT reaches the top 12, the results will be anything but predictable.
The remaining nine contestants will be voted on over the next three weeks.
