Sacha Baron Cohen has made a lucrative career out of satirizing society and the many types of characters that exist within in. But this time around, the comic actor intends to write a spoof of a character we already know and love, James Bond.

Paramount Pictures has announced that Baron Cohen, along with screenwriter Phil Johnston, will create a currently untitled spy film. The pitch follows a “James Bond-like spy” who goes on the run with his long-lost brother, described as a “moronic soccer hooligan,” according to Variety.

Although Baron Cohen has not signed himself on to star in the film, he has yet to write a feature that he hasn’t also acted in, so Variety speculates he will cast himself in the brother role.

After the success of “The Dictator”, Baron Cohen has lined himself up for two serious acting gigs. He is set to star alongside Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe in the newest adaptation of ‘Les Miserables’ and is attached to the Freddie Mercury biopic that is currently in pre-production.

The next “real” James Bond film, ‘Skyfall’ is scheduled for an October 2012 release, starring Daniel Craig and Javier Bardem.
