Harvey Weinstein Granted Restraining Order Against Sheryl Crow’s Crazed Stalker
The Hollywood producer claims Phil Sparks threatened to shoot him
Harvey Weinstein and Sheryl Crow have been granted a restraining order against Phil Sparks, a delusional homeless man that has threatened both their lives.
According to the documents filed by Weinstein in Los Angeles, the producer claims to have never met or spoken with Sparks before. However, Sparks claims that Weinstein and Crow “robbed him, blacklisted him from Hollywood, spied on him and tried to cover up the murder of publicist Ronni Chasen,” according to TMZ.
Additionally, Sparks contacted the Screen Actors Guild in July, threatening to “just shoot” Weinstein and Crow.
Weinstein decided to file the restraining order after hiring a private investigator to assess Sparks. They concluded that the homeless man is a legitimate threat.
The restraining order granted to both Weinstein and Crow on Tuesday requires Sparks to stay 300 yards away from them for the next 3 years.
