Shia LaBeouf Plans to Have Sex on Camera, Gives up Hollywood

Shia LaBeouf, best known for his role in the Transformers series, made two major announcements on Tuesday. The young actor says that he is done with Hollywood Blockbusters and plans to do “whatever it takes” for his role in Lars von Trier’s next film Nymphomaniac.

While speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, LaBeouf expressed his frustration with big-budget films, and declared his intention to give it up.

“I’m done”, LaBeouf began. “There’s no room for being a visionary in the studio system. It literally cannot exist.”

So instead of taking over the Indiana Jones throne, LaBeouf will be joining controversial filmmaker, Lars von Trier, for his upcoming erotic film Nymphomaniac.

Nymphomaniac is set to follow a woman’s sexual encounters throughout her life. What makes this film different than previous von Trier movies is his intention to create two versions; a softer, more commercially acceptable one and a hard-core uncensored one.

Rumors floating about insinuate that the hard-core version will include actual sex scenes.

While speaking with MTV News, LaBeouf admitted that he knew what he was getting himself into by joining the production.

“Von Trier is very dangerous… He’s the most dangerous dude that I’ve ever showed up for. I’m terrified. I’m so terrified, which is why I have to go. We’ll see what happens,” he told MTV.

“It is Lars von Trier, making a movie about what he's making. For instance, there's a disclaimer at the top of the script that basically says we're doing it for real. Everything that is illegal, we'll shoot in blurred images. Other than that, everything is happening."

I think it’s official. The Disney Channel star of Even Stevens has grown up.
