Academy Award winning actress, Natalie Portman, writes a moving tribute to ballet trainer, Mary Helen Bowers, for her new book entitled ‘Ballet Beautiful’.

Mary Helen Bowers is responsible for helping Portman get into shape and learning the necessary complicated dance moves for her role in ‘Black Swan’. The actress graciously repaid the favor by writing the foreword in the ballerina’s newly released fitness book.

“My posture looked like I'd swallowed a broom... I had the same body since (I was) 14. With Mary Helen, it's completely transformed. I gained length, strength and tone. Arms and legs changed shape. In awe of dancers' bodies - definition in their arms, strong legs and beautiful line extending from fingertips to toes... (plus her) healthy diet in conjunction with the exercises achieved our fitness goals," Portman writes.

According to Amazon.com, “Ballet Beautiful is a fitness method that blends the artistry and athleticism of ballet with an easy, accessible eating plan that works for every body – and absolutely no dance experience is required. Created by professional ballerina Mary Helen Bowers, this transformative approach to fitness and health will reshape your body and your mind!”
