Sarah Silverman Mocks Voter ID Laws, Suggests Nana Buys a Gun [VIDEO]
The political comedian is at it again, this time pointing out the flaws with the new voter ID laws.
Sarah Silverman posted a new viral video on her YouTube channel Friday, bringing attention to the flaws with the new voter ID laws.
The new ID laws for the upcoming election require that every citizen intending to vote not only has a photo I.D, but a photo I.D from a government approved list. In the video, Silverman points out that U.S Veteran photo ID cards, social security cards and student ID’s will not longer be accepted, but gun permit ID’s will be.
The Jewish comedian believes the new voter ID laws have been strategically put in place to make it more challenging for Obama’s supporters to vote, including “black people, poor people, old people and students.”
Silverman makes fun of the reasoning behind implementing this new law- “voter fraud”.
“Oh yeah, all that crazy ‘voter fraud’ that’s going around. There’s so much ‘fraud’ around that free, anonymous civil right,” she jokes.
The video concludes with Silverman teaching her Nana how to properly shoot and fire a gun, insinuating that she will only be able to vote if she procures a gun permit.
