Saudi viewers are hot under the collar about a state-owned Saudi television channel featuring an ad for a magic pill called Snafi.

The commercial depicts a man entering his home, greeting his wife and asking how the children are. The woman responds in Arabic saying:

“They’ve finished all their chores, and you, Abu Faisel, don't forget your chore.”

The husband then looks at the children smiles and walks off to a room, which is intended to be the bedroom, with his wife.

The 21-second ad for “Snafi,” a pill used for erectile dysfunction, ends with the slogan:

“Snafi – does the job”

The product sold in Saudi Arabia promises “36 hours of stiffness.”

Following the viewing of the ad, hundreds of Saudis penetrated the internet with angry responses to the commercial. According to a Saudi media source, many of the shocked viewers urged Channel One to show respect and “set boundaries.”

Channel One, the state-owned channel responsible for showing the ad, has not reportedly commented on the matter. It is still unknown whether the commercial has been removed permanently in light of the rapid raging response.
