Israeli Air Force responds to rocket attack
Two Hamas-operated sites bombed
Responding to Palestinian terrorists who fired two Kassam rockets into Southern Israel on Tuesday, August 2nd, the Israeli Air Force bombed targets in the Gaza Strip.
On Thursday, August 4th, the Air Force bombed two Hamas-operated training camps in East and West Gaza.
The Kassam rockets fired into southern Israel wounded an Israeli-Arab woman.
The victim, a 55-year-old female shepherd, was vulnerable without shelter when the air raid sirens sounded. She was wounded by shrapnel, and was treated at the scene before being transferred to Barzilai Medical Center in the nearby coastal town of Ashkelon. The woman is a member of a local Bedouin tribe whose villages do not have shelters capable of withstanding a rocket attack.
