Shimon Peres Coming to Toronto’s Sony Centre May 9th
President of Israel to be Interviewed on Stage by Toronto’s Own David Frum
As the State of Israel – and Jewish communities around the world – prepare to celebrate the Jewish state’s 64th anniversary with Yom Ha’atzmaut festivities, UJA Federation of Greater Toronto has arranged for Shimon Peres, Israel’s president, to address the members of Toronto’s Jewish community with a special event.
President Peres will be joined on stage by Political Analyst, Features Writer for Newsweek, and CNN Contributor and Toronto native, David Frum at Toronto’s Sony Centre for the Performing Arts (1 Front Street, East) on Wednesday, May 9th, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
This is a wonderful opportunity for Jewish Torontonians to show their love for, and solidarity with, Israel, at what promises to be an unforgettable evening featuring President Peres, musical entertainment, and more.
To purchase your E-Tickets, register at sonycentre.ca/peres. To order by telephone, please call UJA Federation’s Shimon Peres Hotline at 416.635.5509.
Please note that pre-registration is required. Tickets are all general admission and seat location is on a first-come, first- served basis (doors open at 6pm).
Due to security procedures, we suggest that you arrive early.
