A United Nations-funded Palestinian NGO used a puppet show to give their message of violence and hate to young children of East Jerusalem.

The children who joined to watch the show were being taught through song and puppetry that Palestinians don’t need more children who smoke, they need more children to hold the smoking barrel of a gun.

The show starts with the puppets singing of the glory of martyrdom:

“Jerusalem, we are coming, Jerusalem, the time of death has arrived. Jerusalem, we will not surrender to the enemies or be humiliated," the puppet sang.

The puppet then continues:

“Jerusalem doesn’t need men who hold cigarettes. It needs men who hold machines guns,” one puppet told the audience.

The show was put on by the Burj Luq-Luq Community Center and Society, an NGO that has been supported by various branches of the UN including UNFPA, UNESCO and UNICEF and maintain strategic ties with the French Consulate and the Swiss Development Agency, among others.

The video of the show was also posted on the community center’s website.
