Responding to more than a dozen rockets fired from Hamas in the Gaza Strip that landed on Israeli soil this afternoon (June 19), Israeli Defense Forces airplanes have completed a strike against the launching squad responsible for the latest barrage.

Including this latest attack which saw the rockets land in open fields, Palestinian terrorists have fired 19 rockets into Israel since Monday. There were no injuries or damage reported in any of the attacks, the majority of which Hamas has claimed responsibility for.

Hamas has said that it was responding to the death of Palestinians in recent days including four terrorists - members of the Islamic Jidhad terrorist group – that were killed by The Israeli Air Force.

On Monday, a terror cell operating from Sinai crossed into Israel, killing an Israeli civilian near the border fence. Members of the Golani Brigade quickly arrived at the scene, killing two terrorists in a gunfight.
